FAQ's

I get a lot of similar questions and so I hope this covers most of the basics concerning my art and commissions.

Would you do a painting for me for free if I give you credit?

Mastercard or Visa? The answer is No. I will consider some trade work but you are still responsible for out of pocket costs. But I will not do a painting for free. If you have spoken to someone who has gotten a free painting from me it was because it was done out of trade or was a gift to that person.

IWill you do a commission for me?

I am very happy to do a commissions piece for you. I do draw the lines on some subject matter. Please Read the commission policies linked here

03

How much does it cost?

The cost for a commission varies from piece to piece. It really depends on the amount of hours I will spend on it and which medium I use. Digital is by far the cheapest. It is also nice because if it is ever lost or damaged, All you pay for is for printing and shipping.  For airbrushing, it is by hour which I include the cost of my materials

04

How long does a painting take?

It all depends on the painting subject and the medium. Usually a digital painting of a character portrait I can get done in 2-4 hours.  A most complex digital painting can take me up to a week. Any traditional medium painting, I never like to take a job that I think will take me longer than a full day of painting, 6-10 hours unless drying time is specifically needed only because a painting that is sitting around where 3 children and cats have access to is just asking to be destroyed.

05

Can I use your art for character pics or decorations for my website?

Sadly the answer is no. The reason for this is because I usually get no credit and more importantly, a lot of the paintings people want to use are commissioned pieces. That means someone else has paid money for that image and you would be taking advantage of that. Out of respect, please do not steal art work. It is stealing. Please report any theft.
